Description
As recorded on the album New Juju by Christopher Merz and Shorter Stories. Each of the three phrases of the melody focuses on a different orchestration, with trombone leading off, then providing a counterline to flugelhorn melody, and finally to tenor saxophone lead support by brass chords. The groove shifts to a long meter bossa nova for the solos, with guitar, tenor, and piano dividing the form. The melody out features guitar, then flugelhorn, with tenor sax having the last word, accompanied by finger-style guitar.
