Weather Report funk in a big band. Think Jaco’s “Liberty City” with a dash of Ellington, New York harmony, and a catchy tune. Solos for trumpet and soprano sax (tenor 2, but that could be swapped to tenor 1). Recorded on Geoff Stradling and the StradBand’s “Nimble Digits” album.
