Commissioned by the Taipei Jazz Orchestra, White Peony is a traditional Taiwanese folk song arranged in rhythm and blues swing feel a la Ray Charles. This 3/4 groover is framed by a short, trombone section chorale at the front and back of the chart and features your lead trombonist throughout.
