Description
This modern Samba is a rhythmic adventure requiring precision in the full ensembles behind a solid alto saxophone feature. Alto 2 is an optional part allowing this to be performed as a full big band with a guest alto soloist or with the alto soloist in the band. The chord changes are modern and challenging but playable. There is a nice section featuring the alto soloist trading with drums and the band.
