As recorded by Mats Holmquist Big Bad Band (Caprice Records 2003).
One of Chick's greatest hits with a catchy, light and easy memorable theme. Holmquist arranged it in a very original way and with a lot of humour. It features clarinet, bari and guitar (all solo) but there is also an extremely unusual four-part soli with these instruments and added bass. There are virtuoso lines, big unisons, lots of counterpoint, soloists playing "fours", a drum solo and a very surprising ending. A very exciting crowd pleaser!
NOTE: The recording has a Viola solo which was replaced by a guitar solo in the arrangement.
