Dandaya

This wordless vocal was inspired by the music of Brazilian guitarist Nando Lauria. Composed in 1996 by Jasperse, the chart now reflects the performance practice of Vertical Voices, of which Jasperse is a member. The melody lifts off immediately and never lets you go, ushering you through an a cappella break, a section for solos, an exciting vocal soli and a feature for the drummer, all before fading rhythmically away.
