Minor Triburaty

Minor Tributary is a waltz originally written for the WDR band as an introductory piece to precede a piece by Pat Martino called The Great Stream (hence the title). It uses a chord voicing typical of Pat’s piece and the melody is derived from intervals within that chord. The lead is in the clarinet (on the tenor chair), and there's a rhythmically complex development section at the end.
