Out of Town

Description

The YellowJackets Out of Town from the bands early Four Corners album is a challenging, driving straight ahead arrangement by Rick Lawn. It is based loosely on rhythm changes and features solis for saxophones, trumpets and trombones. The saxophone soli is a challenging tour de force that will make the best players step up their game! An alternate part for lead alto sax calls for doubling on soprano, making the soli a bit easier. Solo space is provided to guitar or piano, alto or tenor sax and drums. An additional alternate part is provided for the baritone sax with a bass clarinet double. Trombone 2 also includes and optional euphonium/baritone horn double.
